Dr. Mikaela Holland was raised in South Fulton, Tennessee. Her love for serving others through the practice of medicine stems from her desire to share the love of Christ with others, as well as her fascination with science and nature. She graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she majored in Cell and Molecular Biology and was a member of the cheerleading team for football and basketball. She completed her medical school training at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. It was during her medical school training that she developed a passion for pediatric medicine, both from her patients and her step-children. She completed her pediatric residency training at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she most loved working in the outpatient general pediatrics setting and newborn nursery. Dr. Holland believes that all children embody a wealth of hope and potential, which she hopes to foster alongside parents and guardians, as a team.
Dr. Holland enjoys spending time with her husband, who is her biggest supporter. She loves supporting his music career and spending time outdoors, especially hiking and walking her dogs. She is excited to join the Agoura West Valley Pediatrics team and looks forward to making a meaningful impact in the community.
